Three was always the sacred umber and the Triskel is the most sacred of symbols. It was the central sacred image throughout the per-christian era being found in the form of the Triple Spiral in the Neolithic ad in the later Celtic period this same symbol becomes the Triskel It has may meanings such as representing the three elements; fire, air, or sun, moon, stars.
