Originally from Dublin and living in a train station on the Sligo-Roscommon border, Jessamine O'Connor won both the Yeats and Francis Ledwidge awards in 2011, was shortlisted for the Bradshaw Books Manuscript competition 2012, the Hennessy Literary Awards and the Dead Good Poetry competition 2013.
