County Sligo Cross Innishmurray
The early monastic sites on Innishmurray Island off the coast of Sligo contains many unique feathers that have bee well preserved due to the difficulty of access to the island. The inscribed crosses though to be on of the earliest of the style with Celtic intertwining. Other relics preserved on the island include a ballaun basin with deep hallows in which retains its original turning stones.
