Irish Megalithic Art dates from the Neolithic or Late Stone Age also known as the Megalithic Monuments such as Newgrange were constructed across the land. In mythology these mounds were know as the Bru, the house of the Tuatha déDannan, the mystical Spirit People or Sidhe who curved their mysterious messages on the stones over 5000 years ago.
