Images of Goddess are absent in the imagery of ancient Ireland despite the prominence of the Goddesses in ancient mythology. Yet a wide range of Goddess figures are common from many cultures throughout Europe and from all eras of pre-history. The most Scred Ancient Centre of Ireland, the Boyne valley, is named after the great Goddess of the ancient world, the Cow Goddess Bó.
