Susan Flynn's poems reflect her deep interest in natural history. She enjoys walks with her dog, a lens to examine minute life forms and a notebook. She is committed to animal welfare.
Susan has been a member of the Rathmines Writers' Workshop for some years. She has won awards or placings in the Francis Ledwidge Poetry Award, Clogh Writers' competition, Cathal Buí competition, Writer's Showcase, Crann competition and the Scottish Open International Poetry competition.
