Sinéad Wilde Allart, Home Economics teacher, moved from Ireland to the Cotentin Peninsula in Normandy, France, in 1993. There, she and her husband Philippe lovingly restored La Blonderie, a beautiful 18th century farmhouse. Shortly afterwards, they opened the Wilde Kitchen, where Sinéad gave cookery courses to and provided accommodation for numerous guests from all over the world.
Over the years thee were many joyful times, seasonal celebrations and even the odd broken heart, but there was always a perfect recipe for every occasion. This book is Sinéad's way of preserving these memories by sharing the most precious and favourite dishes from the Wilde Kitchen.
